The Senior Vice President, Human Resources leads and directs the corporate Human Resources function, including planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining people management strategies, policies, programs, and services.
This influential role sets the cultural tone, enabling Jones Healthcare Group to attract, engage, develop, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
More about your responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
  • Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with JHG’s plans and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives driving organizational growth and strategy implementation.
  • Take overall accountability for ensuring JHG has the systems in place for current and future resourcing needs.
  • Bring insights on the labour market, talent landscape, organizational design, and legal trends to the CEO and Senior Leadership and HR teams.
Advisor & Business Partner
  • Provide trusted advice to the President & CEO, and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Offer strategic guidance on acquisitions, organizational structure, and future business decisions.
  • Lead and coach the HR Team, and continuously evaluate opportunities for continues improvements in service and in HR systems that would benefit leadership and colleagues.
Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Direct talent acquisition by optimizing tools, technology, and recruitment processes.
  • Enhance/create support systems and programs for a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure programs and systems are in place for learning and skills development.
Coaching & Employee Relations
  • Align performance coaching with company strategies and goals.
  • Provide guidance on performance issues, and act as a conflict management facilitator.
  • Ensure HR operations comply with legislative requirements and policies for equitable treatment of colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Oversee Total Rewards programs, maintaining awareness of competitive market data and ensuring timely salary reviews.
  •  Manage data administration between HR and payroll in compliance with legislation.
  • Partner with SVP, Finance, for RRSP/DPSP and benefits programs, including contract renewal negotiations and effective communication of any changes.
If you’ve got:

  • Graduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Executive leadership experience in HR for a mid-sized organization or divisional leadership in a large organization.
  • Operational leadership experience outside of HR is a valuable asset.
  • Knowledge of business and strategic planning processes, along with budgeting expertise.
  • Exposure to HR systems, technology, and metrics for enhancing organizational value and efficiency.
  • Leadership skills to set direction, align people and foster commitment toward goals.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, building relationships at various levels.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Collaborative leadership style with conflict management proficiency.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with conceptual and analytical skills.
