Shipping & Receiving Associates
Introduction
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be handling all incoming material coming into the facility and responsible for ensuring the products/materials are delivered to the appropriate departments.

Motif operates as a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing services to Licensed Producers (LP's) and 3rd Party Brands. Position Overview:
· Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
· Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing material
· Organize the packaging and shipment of material adhering to internal and government regulations
· Update internal data resources and systems daily
· Work closely with inventory on incoming and outgoing materials
· Maintain accurate and live reports for management and facility
· Work directly with Quality Assurance, Packaging and other departments in supporting internal requirements
· Assist in Lean Management activities
· Review internal shipping/receiving processes and procedures with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator; and
· Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· College diploma or any post secondary education in a related discipline
· Min 2 years experience in shipping and receiving (working with cross functional teams such as Packaging & QA)
· Forklift experience is considered an asset
· Must be physically fit, able to sit or stand for long hours and move 30+LBS
· Positive attitude with strong communication skills
· Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize
· Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn
· Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
· Required to pass a criminal background check

COVID PROTOCOL:
This role is performed on site at our production facility and Motif provides all required PPE and has continued all safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn at all times while indoors and staff are to remain 2M+ apart, COVID screening must be completed every day prior to entering the facility (a QR code is on the front door for you to scan on your phone) and you must show that you have passed screening to Motif’s security personnel.
