About the role:
We're looking for an Applications Engineer to join the Aria Filtra team and play a critical role in designing innovative membrane filtration solutions for municipal and industrial customers.
In this role, you'll combine engineering expertise, customer engagement, and business insight to develop solutions that help customers solve complex water treatment challenges. You'll work directly with Sales teams, engineers, contractors, and end-users to develop solutions and proposals, evaluate technical requirements, and bring upgrade projects from concept to execution.

What You'll Do
Develop technical proposals for engineered upgrade water treatment projects
Design upgrades to membrane filtration equipment
Interface with vendors to verify design and obtain quotes for upgrade projects
Review customer specifications and engineering drawings
Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
Interface directly with customers and consulting engineers
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams
Drive continuous improvement of tools and processes
What We're Looking For
BS degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering
2+ years experience in engineering design, programming, field support, technical customer support, or similar experience.
Experience performing equipment design calculations on process equipment.
Demonstrated success interfacing and problem solving with external water treatment customers in the Municipal or Industrial markets to understand technical needs.
Requires 20% travel. Must have no legal restrictions to travel between US and Canada. Valid Passport available is mandatory

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $85,000 -$100,000 CAD per year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, and medical/dental/vision insurance to eligible employees.
