  • Liaise with Manufacturing Team members and Leadership related to a Lean Project assigned to the selected Students
  • Conduct analysis with multiple departments related to the project scope as defined by Leadership
  • Communicate with Team Members regarding the problem statement and collect opportunities /solutions
  • Develop a project plan with tasks and timelines
  • Coordinate / facilitate internal meetings with key subject matter experts related to project goals
  • Interface with Managers and Senior Leaders to report project status
  • Provide a presentation with your recommendations and solutions
  • Retain all documentation related to the project for ongoing use within the business
  • Provide a final presentation on your experience with Land Systems Canada during your summer. What you were able to both learn & take away from the experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in University Degree or College Diploma program in relevant discipline. Manufacturing Technologist, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Admin, Manufacturing Operations,
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, particularly in Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management skills / experience
  • Basic understanding of process analysis
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Principles
  • Advanced Level proficiency in Software Systems integration
