Food Truck Line Cook / Food Service Team Member
Join a fun, fast-paced food truck serving scratch-made plant-based comfort food at festivals, markets, and community events throughout Spring, Summer, and Fall. This is a hands-on role preparing and serving burgers, wraps, bowls, and other favorites while interacting with customers in a lively environment.
About You:
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Experience in food service or fast-pased environments
- Enjoy working as part of a small team
- Able to stay organized and take initiative during busy service.
- Interested in plant-based food and sustainability.
- Enjoy Community events and meeting new people.
- Available for lunch, evening, and weekend shifts
- Have a reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and answer questions.
- Prep ingredients and restock the food truck.
- Assemble sandwiches, burgers, wraps, bowls, and sides
- Help maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Represent New Leaf at festivals and community events.
Requirements:
- 15 - 20 hours per week
- Typical Shifts: 10am - 2pm and 4pm - 8pm (varies by event)
- Safe Food Handler Certification required
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation required.
