TITLE: ENGINEER – VERIFICATION/VALIDATION (1 Year Contract)
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Designer/Engineer to join our verification and validation team. You will play a crucial role in supporting product development and product sustainment initiatives for water and wastewater treatment equipment. As a vital member of our cross-disciplinary team, you will contribute to various stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your work will have a direct impact on improving water and wastewater quality globally.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Carry out assignments of substantial variety and/or complexity requiring a sound understanding of related engineering principles and practices.
- Assist in the development of new test protocols.
- Design, adapt, or direct the building of test setups and equipment for new situations, based on analysis of test specifications and engineering department requests and instructions.
- Participate in root cause analysis and investigations of material failures and testing issues.
- Conduct verification and validation activities to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Act as a technical resource in a cross-functional product development environment.
- As a member of a collaborative team, create and deliver on project plans.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the product lifecycle.
- Participate in testing and field verification.
Note: Up to 10% local or international travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in using CAD software such as Solidworks 3D or Inventor
- Proven track record developing innovative design solutions
- Innovative thinker able to take appropriate risks and guide others to solving problem in a new way
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and strong facilitation / presentation skills

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Proficient in using CAD software such as Solidworks 3D or Inventor.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in designing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in using verification and validation tools (e.g., CAD software, simulation tools, automated testing frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with verification methodologies and testing tools.
