Grace Transport is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and partner closely with the day-to-day needs of a growing transportation business. This is a senior leadership role with direct access to ownership and a meaningful opportunity to influence performance, systems, and long-term growth.
The Role
As Director of Finance, you will take full ownership of Grace Transport’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, disciplined cost control, and actionable insights that support operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and cash-flow management
- Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
- Monitor margins, costs, and overall business performance
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Track and analyze key cost drivers, including fuel, labour, and mileage
- Partner closely with operations to improve efficiency and profitability
- Translate financial data into clear, practical insights for leadership and ownership

- Experience in transportation, logistics, or a related industry is a significant asset
