Job Requirements:

• High School diploma (preferred)
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience in a manufacturing setting is a strong asset
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Excellent attendance
• Availability:
  • Straight night shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Removes debris and waste material from floors and waste containers in work areas
• Transports trash and scrap to proper disposal or salvage/recycling areas; breaks down cardboard as needed
• Sweeps or cleans floors, using powered or manual equipment, cleaning solutions and floor drier, and cleans, sweeps and dusts office areas, hallways and stairways, bathrooms, and other non-production areas of the facility
• Prepares cleaning solutions by mixing with water in correct proportions
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies
• Picks up refuse from plant grounds and performs light grounds keeping activities
• Performs other light plant or equipment maintenance activities

Working Conditions

• 90% plant floor (PPE required), 10% office environment

Effort/Physical Demands

• Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
• Overtime as required

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures
• Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company
