The Role:
The Senior Robotics & Controls Specialist will collaborate with the Controls Engineering Manager, Technical Leaders, and cross-functional teams to support meeting the vision of the Robotics and Controls group with proving insight and ideas on improvements that boost the team’s effectiveness and efficiency. In this role you will lead innovative projects, mentor talented teams, and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead robotics and controls projects from start to finish
- Mentor and coach engineering team members
- Design, develop, and debug automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Vision Systems)
- Travel for installation and training of customers
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years in controls programming & commissioning
- 5+ years leading projects and teams
- Experience with industrial robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel internationally
