Bosco and Roxy’s is a premium, specialty dog treat manufacturer based in London, Ontario and shipping worldwide. Our products are new and innovative and fast becoming a must have in every treat jar. Bosco and Roxy’s frequently launches new hand-decorated cookie treats and the response has been fantastic! We launch a new collection for every holiday.

The Key Account Manager is accountable for the achievement of account-specific goals, including volume and sales growth with both active and new customers. This position is responsible for supporting customer implementation, analyzing customer sales & providing recommendations, and managing key private label & strategic branded customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of sales objectives and specific volume/net sales goals through execution of account plans and brand strategies.
  • Focus on achievement of optimal AMPS (assortment, merchandising, price, promotion and shelving) by account.
  • Negotiating with key accounts in a direct and in-direct sales environment
  • Responsible for forecasting promotional activity and new listings through associated tools
  • Develop and deliver customer plans to achieve objectives within budget and short & long-term solutions through best practice thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align with brand and category objectives and develop a go-to-market strategy to deliver execution excellence.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Planning, Finance to manage the bottom line and supply chain to deliver goods in a timely and efficient manner with on-time and in full payment
  • Manage broker partners through regular meetings (in person and virtual), execution, clear communication, and follow-up to ensure execution excellence.
  • Support various tradeshows through setting up and selling-in future opportunities.
  • Provide management of current accounts, daily activities, and priorities, and manage KPIs to meet the needs of customer expectations regarding service and sales support.
  • Must drive engagement with customers at all levels to ensure all new & existing needs are understood, and all key stakeholders recognize the value delivered.
  • Work with the product development team to communicate the customer's expectations
  • Manage all open projects with assigned customers from inception to completion using Monday.com
  • Coaching of key account administrators.
  • Liaison with sister company team at Wufers
  • Prospecting new accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • A strong communicator: Verbally to build retailer relationships and in writing to accomplish follow-up. Strong listening skills and adaptability to adjust style and message based on customer cues.

You have…

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to portray a confident and winning attitude in challenging business
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel, required.
  • Ability to apply financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes. This includes margins, retail math, forecast/projections, velocities, and other analytical skills not mentioned.
  • Trade Show experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience within the CPG and Pet Specialty market will be beneficial. Interactions at Customer Headquarter level and an existing network of relevant relationships in the Pet Specialty field is also beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
