The Opportunity

Reports to direct Supervisor/Manager

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for providing technical expertise to the Maintenance and Operations team, supporting the day-to-day functions and helping implement capex/improvement projects. The Maintenance Electrician will need to be well versed in equipment launches including but not limited to PM and spare part implementation. Effective communication with all functional groups on site and act as a liaison to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed, completed, and closed out in a timely manner. Must possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work on various equipment or machines either alone or with other members of the Organigram Team.

What you will be doing.......

Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions, replacing faulty components, and ensuring systems are functioning safely and efficiently. 

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the layout and requirements of electrical installations.
• Rebuilding pumps, replacing seals, other building maintenance support requirements.  
• Ensuring all work is performed according to relevant electrical codes, building codes, safety regulations, and jurisdictional requirements. 
• Support continuous improvement and equipment launch projects.
• Who you are....
• Effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and other tradespeople to coordinate work and ensure project success.  
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions. 
• Managing time and materials effectively to complete projects efficiently.  

To qualify, you have.......

• Industrial electrician certification. 
• 3 years work experience in an industrial setting.
• Mechanically inclined.
