POSTING TYPE: Permanent, Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $45,000 – $55,000

(Please note that the salary range listed is intended as a guideline. The final compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.)

About the Role

We’re looking for an AP/AR Coordinator to play a key role in owning accounts payable and receivable processes across our growing business. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining reliable financial records, and supporting strong communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

You’ll work closely with multiple departments to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently while identifying opportunities to improve and streamline workflows. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

As the AP/AR Coordinator, you will support the flow of financial information across the business by managing invoicing, payments, reconciliations, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations. The key responsibilities and areas of focus include:

Accounts Payable

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including supplier setup, invoice review, invoice processing in SAP, and weekly payment runs
  • Send remittances and respond to supplier inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Support cash flow forecasting, including tracking upcoming withdrawals and government remittances
  • Manage invoices related to both services and inventory items

Accounts Receivable & Banking

  • Complete customer invoicing throughout the month and at month end
  • Prepare deposits, process cheques, and reconcile bank accounts daily
  • Support accounts receivable reconciliations through documentation retrieval and system transactions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple systems

Reporting & Financial Support

  • Run, analyze, and distribute weekly AP and AR reports to internal teams
  • Support financial and operational audits by gathering required documentation
  • Manage financial transactions and reconciliations for related entities in QuickBooks

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial workflows
  • Support implementation and testing of AI and automation tools related to AP/AR processes
  • Assist with projects related to expense management systems and workflow improvements
  • Help improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across finance operations
  • You’ll also play a role in identifying opportunities for automation and helping shape how we reduce manual work through improved systems and tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP and/or QuickBooks is considered an asset
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, or AI-related tools is considered an asset
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
