Role Summary

This role works closely with the brewing and packaging team to support cellar and kegging operations for all contract and own-brand kegging. This position will be responsible for the organization and execution of keg packaging, the inventory control of kegging within the brewery and the master clearing schedule in the cellar and kegging department. This role also supports the cellaring responsibilities focusing on washing, sanitation, transfers, and readying finished beer tanks for packaging (ie. carbonating, testing, and such).

Responsibilities:

  • The planning and scheduling of weekly keg production requirements
  • Organize and maintain the inventory of all keg production supplies
  • Maintain, update, and improve kegging SOPs and kegging safety programs/training
  • Provide support to the cellar team but assist with the cleaning of the area and sterilisation of tanks, line transfers, and brewery equipment.
  • Help others on shift with tank transfers and finishing beer in tanks for packaging. This may include testing, carbonating, flavouring, and more.
  • Provide training to new employees
  • Comply with environmental and health and safety policies
  • Responsible for maintaining chemical storage area; following company SOP and training to ensure chemicals are stored, managed, and labelled correctly
  • Responsible for executing assigned master cleaning tasks
  • Operating a forklift
  • Support the warehouse, packaging, and cellars operations and team members

Qualifications:

  • Relevant and applicable experience in kegging, production, and warehouse operations
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to influence others
  • Create highly detailed and accurate production and quality documentation
  • Able to work under minimal supervision, as well as with a team
  • Proficient computer skills (Google sheets, Google docs, email)
  • Able to work shift work
  • Fork Truck certification required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
