Supply Chain & Ops. Analyst
 

We are hiring for an S&OP Analyst position.

This role will be reporting to the Sales and Operations Planning Manager, this role interprets historical information and input from the other functional groups to build an acceptable product and sales forecast for Trade and Intercompany sales channels.  Working closely with the Purchasing and Planning teams is expected to bridge the gap between the Sales and Supply teams.  This role is also a key resource to other departments’ informational needs; creating, pulling, and providing data reports in a timely manner.  This role has 5 core goals:

  • Minimize Forecast
  • Error Maximize
  • Forecast Accuracy
  • Provide meaningful insight to the sales and operations teams
  • Maximize Fill Rates
  • Inventory Management

This position is critical to Masco Canada.  Primary goals are to maximize fill rate service levels for peak customer service while optimizing inventories through forecast management and analysis.

Masco Canada manages its inventory investment which is a critical component to the ROA and ROI performance measures.  The output of this role is also used for annual budgeting purposes.

This position operates with a high level of autonomy and therefore must have good levels of experience in our systems, products, and analytics.

What you will bring:

  • Community College Diploma or University Degree
  • Preferably in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 3-5 Years of experience in a Sales Analytics, Supply Chain (Demand/Supply), or Inventory Management role
  • APICS Certification highly desired
  • Demonstrated excellence in analysis and decision-making
  • Above average computer skills
  • Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), Sequel/Viewpoint
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications, with above average Excel skills
  • General knowledge and experience working in an ERP system (e.g., JD Edwards)
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Comfortable interacting with various cross-functional groups

 

 

What you will do: 

  • Maintenance of key forecasting accuracy metrics
  • Maintaining and updating the forecast accuracy database as required
  • Attend monthly demand planning meetings with retail account managers with data driven suggestions for forecast improvements
  • Organize and lead monthly Pre-SOP meetings with the Sales teams, the Forecast team, and other key departments
  • Analyze monthly reports to identify key areas of focus and adjust the system driven forecasts
  • Work with the Sales Team to assist on development and execution of budgets and forecasts
  • Complete routine monthly forecasting procedures
  • Phase In/Phase Out product forecast management
  • New Launch product forecast management
  • Manage and analyze weekly product forecast by model by account and ensure inventory forecast matches promotional calendar by account.
  • Execute departmental goals
  • Provide backup support/vacation coverage to the Supply Chain & Operations Analyst and Manager of S&OP

Hiring Range: $55,800.00 - $87,670.00
Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
