Automotive Quality Engineering Technologist

The Automotive Quality Engineering Technologist will be responsible to provide support and direction to all departments in the area of quality assurance and process documentation. You will develop and maintain production Quality/Control plans and PFMEA’s.

Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of ISO-9001/ IATF 16949
- SPC Knowledge and interpretation
- Knowledge in gauge selection / functionality
- Knowledge of PPAP requirements
- Ability to develop & maintain production Quality/Control Plans and PFMEA`s
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Knowledge of general calibration procedures
- Ability to interpret customer specifications
- Experience in problem solving techniques (8D, 5WHY), Quality Systems, APQP, Statistical Methods, Control Plans and PPAP’s
Skills Required:
- Quality Assurance Certification (CQE/QCA) or equivalent experience
- Responsible for preparing PPAP submissions on assigned programs
- Familiar with all Quality Control requirements with regards to ECN’s, SPC studies, CPK studies, APQP, PPAP’s
- Coordinate and participate in dimensional evaluation of parts using appropriate gauges and fixtures including SPC studies
- Minimum 3 years in Quality Control
