WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Staging and labeling of products for shipment to customers and other Means plants
- Preparation of shipping documents (BOL’s, customs invoices)
- Directing Material Handler to load trucks in a timely and safe manner within specified pickup windows
- Preparing and generating Advance Ship Notifications (ASN’s) to customers and ensuring their accurate and timely submission
- Preparing courier shipments and arranging pickup
- Performing dunnage and/or inventory counts daily, weekly or monthly as directed by Materials Manager
- Validating packing slips for MRO items match quantities shipped by supplier
- Receiving MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) items into SAP in a timely and accurate manner
- Distributing MRO items to individuals throughout plant
- Daily, weekly and monthly 5S audits of shipping dock or other designated areas
- Verbal communication and assistance for customers, suppliers and other Means employees
- Electronic filing of shipping and receiving documents for record keeping
- Occasional requirement to use forklift to load trucks or move inventory or dunnage
- Act as a backup for specific duties of Materials Coordinator as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager or his/her designate.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
- SAP experience – minimum 6 months
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in warehousing and/or manufacturing environment
- Forklift driving experience or willingness to learn
- Completion of high school or college diploma
- Must have a satisfactory performance, conduct and attendance
