Job Description:
3M is seeking a Contract Supervisor for its Medical Solutions Division (MSD) team located remotely in Ontario. The successful candidate will assist in growing the MSD business through successful RFP submissions, and will maintain a channel of communication with 3M internal and external customers as it relates to contracts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administers and coordinates information from marketing, sales, legal, customer service departments to determine how to respond and communicate information to customers within the RFx event
- Helps with the preparation of written correspondence in response to Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Information (RFI) in English and French
- Monitors status of RFQs, RFPs and RFIs
- Using data prepared by Analyst, monitors and reports on Sales trends, strategy implementation gain/loss
- Updates information files as needed and prioritizes, incoming RFQ, RFP and RFI contracts according to departmental priority and company policy
- Special projects
To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business or healthcare
- Minimum of (5) combined years of experience in operations, sales, or marketing in a healthcare setting
- 1 year of pricing and/or contracting theories and practices
- 2 years of demonstrated Technical competence with Excel (create formulas)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience in project management
- Experience in working with GPOs, SSOs, distributors and the healthcare supply chain
- Fluent in French an asset
- Ability to utilizes resources across work areas, departments, and businesses to create solutions
- Skills include financial acumen, data analysis, influence, communicating value, presentation
- Ability to communicate and listen with a balanced IQ / EQ to understand perspectives and concerns of others
- Results oriented, self-starter that leads with high energy and passion
- Excellent problem solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel less than 5% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.
