Reporting to the Technical Services Quality Manager, the Technical Services Quality Specialist will provide support to the Retail, Foodservice, and Industrial sales, marketing, and quality teams across the company to meet customer and industry demands and databases.

THE ROLE:

• Complete and maintain customer specific portals for technical information (nutritional, allergens, ingredients, standards, packaging specifications, certifications, etc...);
• Follow up with customers and sales regarding documentation requests and specifications;
• Coordinate with the Innovation and Development (I&D) department during the new product development process;
• Consult with the company's regional QA managers for information regarding food safety or regulatory requirements;
• Consult and interact with quality departments at 13 locations;
• Assist in responding to restaurant, retail or industrial customer requests regarding HACCP plans, allergens, technical information, operations and capabilities;
• Assist with standardization of product recipes and creation of product change forms;
• Stay connected to the evolution of our processing and production capabilities in our facilities;
• Provide support to the Quality Services Sample Coordinator;
• Perform internal audits as requested by the company or Quality Assurance department;
• Work on various company and facility related QA projects.

PROFILE: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality or technical role in the food industry;
• Background in food science or related discipline;
• Knowledge of quality standards (HACCP, FSMA, GFSI) and customer expectations;
• Excellent organizational skills, resourceful and solution oriented;
• PCQI training is an asset;
• Ability to work on multiple projects and/or requests at the same time;
• Strong ability to develop professional relationships with clients;
• Fluency in English - French an asset.
