We have an exciting opportunity for Millwright join our growing business at our QCI Division Woodstock facilities!

The Position: We are looking for a Licensed Millwright (442A) and preference will be given to someone with dual certification (442A/309A) to join the Steelcraft team!

The Shift : Day Shift (Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm)

The Wage: $34-37 to start based on experience

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Requires Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certificate.
  • Must have working knowledge and be self sufficient in performing duties requiring welding, fitting, layout, gears (boxes), hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical, cranes/rigging.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings with no supervision.
  • Perform maintenance to buildings and equipment, as required.
  • Must be able to operate all machine shop equipment efficiently.
  • Must complete, record, document and maintain all associated records pertaining to the job function.
  • Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills level at or above industry standards, through continually updating knowledge of changing technology, as related to the job function.
  • Requires working to close tolerance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair in an effective and timely manner.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Instruct and assist helpers performing related job functions.
  • Maintain an organized and safe working area.
  • Must be able to work safely at heights.
  • All duties to be performed to company standards, both proficiently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair CNC and PLC related equipment
