SALARY: $45.63/hour

 

SHIFTS: 4 shifts X 12 hour rotating shifts

Flexibility in schedule is needed

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate ammonia, CO2, Compressed air, Cogeneration, Boiler and Steam systems in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures

  • Effectively Operating HVAC Unit for proper ventilation

  • Performing preventive maintenance routine and repair completions

  • Maintenance documentation updates

  • Respect of plant policy (Safety, Environment, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points

  • Other duties as required

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • A Valid 2nd class Engineering certificate a minimum

  • Minimum 3 years Powerhouse Engineer experience - manufacturing experience preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment an asset

  • Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with a face-paced environment

  • Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision

  • Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic and attendance record
