Equals launched Bangarang Hard Seltzer in 2020, which has grown to be one of the fastest-growing RTD brands in Ontario. Role Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day transportation and storage of goods, warehouse inventorying and internal logistics functions. It will focus on supporting the company and our customers by scheduling and supervising the transportation and sourcing of goods, managing on-site and off-site inventory, and supporting all departments with the achievement of organizational goals. The position requires someone who has strong attention to detail, is willing to take initiative, and works towards continuously improving the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring EHS, Food Safety and internal policies and procedures are followed
  • Day to day coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Responsible for the organization and coordination of warehouse space and on-site inventory
  • Assist with month-end closing and year-end physical inventory processes.
  • Developing and maintaining work instructions to ensure consistency in logistics roles
  • Work with operation teams to ensure accurate, on time delivery for our customers
  • Respond to service requests from our customers related to delivery schedules or off cycle inventory counts
  • Ensure that all warehouse related activities (inventory control, quality control, transfers, adjustments) are accurately and efficiently recorded.
  • Compile timely weekly, monthly and annual reports on all inventory, variances, reconciliations in addition to department and team KPIs.
  • Recommending measures to improve quality of service and departmental performance
  • Stage various materials required for daily production, 1-2 weeks in advance.
  • Ensure replenishment stock is received, appropriate people are notified.
  • Audit and maintain protocols for a clean, safe warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated ability implementing warehousing and transportation systems, maximizing efficiency in product flow, and utilizing technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing performance management (including positive and constructive) to all Warehouse Team Members and Production Forklift operators
  • Participate in and suggest cost savings initiatives to improve Brewery results
  • Analyze and explain the costs associated with routes under your responsibility
  • Support other operations and teams throughout the site as required

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in a related field would be ideal
  • 1-3 years of Supply Chain Experience is preferred
  • Highly detailed, good documentation practices and accurate data entry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time and stay organized
  • Diligent to setting routines and executing critical tasks
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to act with impact and influence
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and work well within a team setting
  • Takes initiative to stay organized with high attention to detail and warehouse planning
  • Proficient computer skills (Google sheets, docs, email)
  • Able to work shift work
  • Fork Truck certification required
  • Experienced working with ERP systems
  • Experience in a Team Lead/Supervisory capacity

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily day shift, but must be able to support off-shifts as required.
  • Able to work 8 and 12-hour shifts depending on business needs
  • Flexibility on hours during Operations peak season
  • Lift items up to 15 kg
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for long periods of time
