Solution Architect – D365

This is an office-based role with the option of a hybrid work arrangement.

You are a University or College graduate with a degree or diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or at least 7 years of equivalent work experience. You have 10 years of direct experience in enterprise-level ERPs, preferably Microsoft and 5 years with D365 in a leadership or strongly influential position. You have expertise in leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (Power BI, Power Automate, Active Directory etc.) when designing solution architecture and have proven experience in developing enterprise and solution level architectural designs and linking of cross-functional modules between disparate business units and systems.

 

 

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Business Solutions, you will support the business needs of the organization by overseeing the planning, coordination, architecture, and all other activities related to the design and implementation of Trudell Medical Group of Companies’ D365 platform, including core Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). You will also provide guidance and liaise with stakeholders across the Trudell Medical Group of Companies business and technical domains to ensure accurate translation of business requirements for complex IT solutions into specific systems, applications, or process design. Specifically, you will focus on:

 

 

Planning, Design, and Implementation

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on D365 for the internal team
  • Stay current on D365 releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from core ISVs
  • Define metrics to determine how business and operations success is measured and validate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system/overall solution architecture performance
  • Architect and configure complex solutions within D365 and core ISVs
  • Lead the solution design for multiple simultaneous implementation projects/streams for D365 (e.g., Customer Experience, Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) as well as any ISVs or other third-party solutions required to ensure systems strategy is integrated effectively into the business
  • Design and develop highly available, scalable, secure, high performance system solutions in Microsoft Azure and other Cloud environments
  • Establish global ERP architecture by integrating solutions across functional lines
  • Oversee solution design for data integrity and security within MS Dynamics ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information is maintained
  • Participate in the design ofautomation architecture
  • Recommend theright solutions and software to meet business requirements

 

Issue Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve any technical challenges that arise, and propose feasible solutions that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve technical risks and issues
  • Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via automation or process support

 

Communication and Administration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners by anticipating needs and identifying appropriate solutions
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Application Developers during the execution of system design/configuration
  • Interface with stakeholders at several levels, from executive management to technical staff, to provide advanced technical leadership and to report status on ongoing initiatives
  • Ensure the collection and coherent interpretation of the various business processes affected by integration efforts
  • Ensure clear and concise communications with both internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Communicate insights into organizational needs and activities to IT and business team members

 

 

Reporting

  • Evaluate results of integration projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings
  • Report on project and task dependencies, status, and progress
  • Ensure documentation is completed for designated solutions
  • Remain abreast of trends and changes tied to the profession and business
