Production Manager

This is a new position within Equals Brewing and entails junior to mid-level managerial accountabilities including but not limited to:

• Responsible for all aspects of the packaging workgroup (safety, quality, liquid readiness, line performance, equipment utilization, resource management, etc.) both while on-site and on-call.
• Deliver results in safety, quality, equipment efficiency, material and liquid loss, continuous improvement, 5S, etc.
• Motivate and engage employees and provide coaching to create a culture of empowerment;
• Provide strong leadership in health and safety on a daily basis;
• Ensuring quality assurance routines are maintained and non-conformances are properly investigated with preventive and corrective actions to support.
• Involved in shift schedules and resource allocations to meet targeted production requirements.
• Optimize and improve manual process work flows for efficient operations
• Work closely with the Planning & Inventory team to optimize production schedules and on-site materials.
• Accountable for overseeing the accuracy and timely completion of Packaging-related documentation and paperwork.
• Communicate with various workgroups on-site to improve and streamline processes and routines.
• Utilize maintenance and technical experience to troubleshoot and resolve abnormalities and production downtime events.
• Lead, support and execute planned maintenance and equipment upkeep routines.
• Lead long-term improvement initiatives and utilize expertise to find new opportunities to improve various aspects of performance.
• Ensure team members are properly trained for their roles with continuous learning & development opportunities to improve knowledge and capabilities.
• Support operations throughout brewery, in packaging or other areas, as required
• All other tasks and duties assigned

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
• Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
