In this job, you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities.

Your daily role

Your mission will be to:

• Maintain consistent process flow of all packaging lines to produce safe, quality product within customer specifications adhering to all safety policies and regulations while maintaining efficiency and continuity
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance when required
• Maintain the cleanliness of your work area and perform tasks within safety standards to ensure all packaging equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to HACCP and Food Safety specifications
• Communicate effectively to contribute to a positive work environment through effective team relations
• Share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives

Your profile

• Ability to work rotating 12 hr continental shift work including weekends
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights in a cold environment
• Quality conscious mindset and good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written, verbal communication, and computer skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work as part of a team and promote a positive work environment
