ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Process Engineering Team and Open Innovation projects! You will develop technology with external partners, access customer problems in the implementation of technology and product. You will align innovation projects with the commercial, marketing and operations teams across the Pall Water Organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide Leadership and mentorship to the 3 Process Engineers and establish knowledge transfer to other organizational functions
• Create and develop innovative water treatment processes with enhanced value for the customer providing differentiation of PALL Water in the water treatment market preferably using membrane separation technology also with external partners.
• Define and execute the validation and implementation of developed water treatment processes.
• Create and review technical product and process specifications to ensure performance, cost and quality objectives. Assess final product/process performance.
• Ensure that technology, processes and products meet the regulatory and data privacy requirements of the targeted markets and regions
• Create resulting processes to become standard work in project sales, execution and service.
• Guide R&D Engineering in most effective water treatment systems design. Actively promote and participate in continuous improvement of technical solutions and work processes applying the methodologies of the Danaher Business System (DBS).
• Actively engage in conversations with customers and commercial teams to understand customer needs and business strategy which will be impacted strongly by the development.

ARE YOU QUALIFIED

• Bachelor´s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in:
  • Process engineering and design of fluid treatment processes and systems (water Chemistry, hydraulic and pneumatic, automation and controls technology)
  • Implementing process technology into design and automation
• Experience in understanding customer´s problems and providing valuable technical solutions

PREFERRED

• Master´s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in R&D or product development.
• Water treatment preferred.
