Job Description
Manufacturing Excellence Intern
This position is primarily responsible to support continuous improvement. The successful candidate will support the factory problem-solving system, provide problem solving coaching, and lead improvement projects through data analysis and execution.Major Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Bottleneck Study for all the lines. This includes:
- Process Flow Mapping
- Get the maximum and design rate/capacity for each equipment that is available in the library information. Read all the technical information for each equipment. Communicate with suppliers and engineering team.
- Compare the design rate against the actual speed
- Define the materials and no. of crew for each equipment/line – (this also include actual vs std verification)
- Support continuous improvement by leading improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Science or Math
- Self-starter / ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including some training experience.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
