Junior Automation Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
- This role will report to the Program Manager – Department Leader
- Learn how to own a project end to end (PO acceptance through to delivery)
- BOS offers direct mentoring, with the goal being “Own the relationship with the customer”

Assist Program Managers on major programs aiding in the development of timelines and action plans, creating schedules, identifying resources, tracking project progress and monitoring budgets. Opportunity to learn how to manage all aspects of industrial automation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and own how to setup and maintaining project plans for the new and current projects
- Maintain project information and organization
- Support project update meetings and whiteboards
- Follow BOS project management methodology and processes to successfully execute projects.
- Engage in the commercial relationship with the customer with project manager guidance
- Support internal and customer design reviews, site reviews, customer visits, and any other commercial interactions
- Develop ability to analyze projects to identify out of scope work or other out of scope customer requests and strategically address these with the Sales Department
- Relay commercial opportunities uncovered during project execution to the sales manager
- Assist with daily functions of project management.
- Travel to customer sites in Canada &USA
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Engineering/Manufacturing Degree or Diploma
- 3-5 years’ experience project management experience in automation
- Must have an interest in external client facing
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
- Naturally mechanically inclined
