In this job, you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities. Please note the shift requirements for this position include 12-hour continental rotating shifts including some weekends.

• Safe and efficient operation of boilers, ammonia compressors and related equipment
• Defrost freezer tunnels as scheduled by Production Supervisor(s)
• Record daily usage, temperatures, fire system pressure, log books, and other compliance checks as assigned
• Operation of Water Vac and air knife equipment
• Complete daily chemical test on boilers, condensers, and water softener

You are:

• 3rd Class Stationary Engineer or 4th Class with a ‘B’ Refrigeration Certificate
• Able to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities and work independently
• A tactful communicator with a willingness to solve problems using critical thinking skills
• Committed to a safe work environment that provides a safe product to its customers
• Willing to share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives
