Your Role and Responsibilities

 

Job Purpose:

The Production Service Administrator is responsible for assisting in purchasing, receiving for day to day operations, collect data and identify cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue request for quote
  • Prepare Purchase orders to support production service
  • Maintain Blanket Purchase Orders for assigned commodities
  • Maintain Necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies to support production
  • Responsible for receiving, identifying, and storing inventory related to production consumables
  • Familiarity with Marwood assembly process including Projection welding, Spot welding and GMAW
  • Assist in the selection of suppliers, review supplier quality and delivery performance
  • Be familiar with and properly utilize all customer portals and/or applications that are relevant to executing this role effectively.
  • Travel between Marwood plants and rental properties (Personal vehicle)
  • Prepare purchasing summary reports and Identify cost savings initiatives
  • Spare part and inventory tracking
  • Daily communication with Marwood team members and vendors
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
  • Receiving and inventory management experience an asset
  • Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have and maintain a minimum G Drivers license
