The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Intercompany Outbound Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Working directly with 3M international subsidiaries and the US Supply Chain to ensure intercompany activity supplied from the US is exported according to international requirements while meeting service expectations.
- Manages orders utilizing SAP, COMS (Corporate Order Management System), IOMS (International Order Management System), Salesforce, and Lotus Notes databases
- Work directly with source of supply locations, division supply chain, and freight forwarders to ensure the timely export of international orders
- Understands and supports the export rules and regulations to comply with US Export Regulatory policies and procedures for international shipments
- Manage enquires from 3M international subsidiaries regarding product availability, order status, expedites, etc. Follow up on escalations, delays and transportation issues.
- Ensure timely completion of CFR complaints for assigned countries
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and/or processes
- Provide back-up support to other Intercompany team members as required
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Four (4) combined years of experience in International Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience in international transacting
- Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- High proficiency using PC based applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
- 3M systems experience (SAP, COMS)
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Initiates, leads, and implements the process of problem identification and resolution
Travel: May include: up to 10% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
