In this role, you will:

Develop, own, and lead technical proposal development for engineered modifications, upgrades, and performance improvements to existing customer installations. You will be responsible for sizing equipment, reviewing installation documents, developing drawings, costing, and writing the technical proposal. Responsible for ensuring the upgrade design and costing are aligned with execution and product capabilities.

Instill confidence in the Aria Filtra technical value proposition to customers by understanding their technical needs and influencing existing customers to select Aria Filtra for upgrades, modifications, and performance improvements to their existing system. You will have an opportunity to gather voice of customer and generate ideas for growth opportunities.

Support the operations team in the execution of aftermarket projects to ensure the technical requirements, scope, costing, and schedule are consistent with that proposed by Aria Filtra.

Identify, share, and execute additional opportunities for growth for Pall Water. You will have an opportunity to own process improvement initiatives. Lead or assist in the development of costing and budgetary tools to improve the accuracy and speed of proposals to customers.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

• BS degree in engineering, preferably electrical or mechanical

• 2+ years experience in engineering design, programming, field support, technical customer support, or similar experience

• Experience with PLC based controls, SCADA, and operator interface equipment and programming.

• Experience performing equipment design calculations on process equipment.

• Experience interfacing with external customers in the Municipal or Industrial markets to understand technical needs.

• Experience reading, interpreting, and influencing technical specifications, controls drawings, P&IDs, piping diagrams, and other technical documents.

• Requires 20% travel. Must have no legal restrictions to travel between US and Canada.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience performing process and equipment design calculations on low pressure membrane filtration and reverse osmosis equipment.

• Experience developing a project schedule.

Compensation details:

The salary range for this role is $60000 – $80000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
