Company Store Clerk

We have an exciting part-time opportunity available in our employee company store. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are seeking part-time hours and are passionate about Nestlé products. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can create a welcoming and friendly environment for our staff shoppers while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule. As a Store Clerk, you will have the chance to work independently and experience the diverse range of responsibilities involved in retail, from ordering stock to efficiently processing customer purchases.
 
Major Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Place product orders
  • Stock shelves and consolidate with packing slip and update inventory
  • Reconcile the cash register and debit machine at the end of the week and month
  • Update products and prices in cash register (SKU, cost and description)
  • Perform the inventory counts as required
  • Ensure compliance to standards
 
Qualifications:
  • You have a high regard for Safety and the Environment
  • Must be available to work flexible hours between Monday and Friday, from 6 am to 6 pm
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High School education or equivalent  
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems 
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to approximately 25kg 
  • Ability to work independently
