Position Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Planner based at our London, Ontario location reporting into the Maintenance Manager. This role will be responsible for the overall design and execution of the maintenance strategy.
A day in the life of a Maintenance Planner
As a Maintenance Planner you will be working on developing and sustaining the preventative maintenance program for all assets. You will be involved in a key function that ensures the right technical decisions are made to deliver the factory’s reliability.
You will also:
- Maintain master data in CMMS and create and maintain BOMs
- Ensure maintenance routines compliance and ensure planned events address unplanned stoppages pareto
- Deliver Budget optimization targets and champion critical documentation system
- Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) and work group activities as required
- Follow all job-related guidelines and procedures for personal safety, food safety, environment and company security (including but not limited to lockout/tag out, use of P.P.E.’s, Hazard Analysis, chemical and product spills, recycling …) as required
- Support continuous improvement and capital projects and be the maintenance representative for interdepartmental initiatives
What will make you successful
As the successful candidate, you will need to be results focused and really enjoy working in a highly technical and exciting environment. You will already have great analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, detail-oriented, and conscientious approach. Your already developed manufacturing experience will give you the experience you need to drive this great brand forward.
You will also have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing, food processing is preferred
- Technical college diploma
- CMRP designation is desirable
- High proficiency using CMMS, SAP is preferred
- High proficiency using MS office, must be extremely knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel advanced functions
- Power BI experience is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, and all the components involved in these processes, such as valves, cylinders, and pumps
- Total Performance Management (TPM) experience an asset
- Preference will be given to candidates with packaging equipment experience, and/or experience in a food manufacturing facility
