Your daily role
Very concretely, you will:
In this job you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities.
Your mission will be to:
- Help repair and troubleshoot production equipment
- Assist with maintaining stockroom inventory and maintenance planning
- Inspect and maintain all plant machinery by carrying out preventative maintenance
- Keep accurate records
- Assist with breakdowns and maintain a close link with production operations to ensure maximum production time
- Respond to maintenance requests outside of production equipment
Your profile
Your assets for this position
You have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with mechanic experience
- Food plant experience preferred but not required
- Experience in preventative maintenance
- Familiarity with EAM systems is an asset
- Ability to work shift work and weekends
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated occupational health & safety competency
- Critical thinking skills
- Proven organizational and planning skills
- Motivation to work well independently
- Commitment to team spirit and a positive work environment
- Willingness to share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives
