Yard Customer Service Representative

Job: Yard customer service representative
Day shift: 8:45 am -5:30 pm or 6:45 am -3:30 pm

The Yard / Shipping Administrator plays a key role in our distribution and customer service success. We are looking for an individual who can operate with efficiently while maintaining an obsessive focus on safety, accuracy of shipments, quality of product, and continuous improvement.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Practice continuous improvement and 6S, including site housekeeping
- Process ship confirmation documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Support in the procurement of LTL’s and CPU movement
- Support yard loading functions as needed
- Achieve expectations to meet standard production efficiencies and KPI’s
- Provide communication to team members and department/site leaders

Educational Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience
- Shipping and/or Logistics background
- Customer Service skills
- Previous Manufacturing experience
- Forklift certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
