About the role:
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and building Piloting test systems and prototypes to support New Product development and Technology development initiatives. You will work on-site and will be required to travel periodically to participate in pilot setups and field verification activities.

We are looking for someone to join us at our London, ON, location. This person will be required to travel up to 30% of the time to other company locations within Canada and the US with no restrictions.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate, Design, and Build equipment for Piloting and prototyping, carrying out assignments of substantial variety and/or complexity requiring a sound understanding of related engineering or scientific theory, principles, and practices.
  • Perform bench-scale and pilot-scale water treatment tests (100% onsite lab work)
  • Build prototypes of product concepts and test fixtures from sketches, drawings, detailed specifications, and verbal instructions
  • Develop operating, maintenance and test procedures based on laboratory standards and safety policies.
  • Participate in piloting and field verification.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Graduate in engineering/applied science technology, or similar technical discipline, or experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in a Custom Engineered Project based business.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of a Technology development team.
  • Experience with Process piping, Troubleshooting, Project Management, considered an asset.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
