General Operations - Bird Hanger (Afternoon Shifts)

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Receiving and unloading crates with live birds
- Hanging and handling of stunned poultry according to humane animal welfare standards
- Performing back-up duties to processing machine
- Rotating with other positions in the department
- Performing any duties deemed necessary according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary
Qualifications and/or Skills required:
- Able to communicate, read and understand English
- Able to work in compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Health & Safety and WHMIS requirements
- Ability to move crates
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in a wide range of environmental conditions (including cool, warm, wet)
