Wages: $23.25/hr

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Receiving and unloading crates with live birds
  • Hanging and handling of stunned poultry according to humane animal welfare standards
  • Performing back-up duties to processing machine
  • Rotating with other positions in the department
  • Performing any duties deemed necessary according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary
 
Qualifications and/or Skills required:
  • Able to communicate, read and understand English
  • Able to work in compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Health & Safety and WHMIS requirements
  • Ability to move crates 
  • Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a wide range of environmental conditions (including cool, warm, wet)
