Human Resources Coordinator

  Position Summary

   

  The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Manager.

   

  The Human Resources Coordinator provides support in functional areas of the HR department and manages all administrative aspects of the department. The Human Resources Coordinator supports the business partners and employees with general HR matters and is a key point of contact for questions and inquiries.

   

  The Role

  • Responsible for delivery of site Human Resources activities including but not limited to: training, monitoring of performance appraisal process, conducting exit interviews, coordinates temporary agency recruiting and tracking, including orientation and onboarding, backup for other HR roles, as necessary. Deals with employee concerns and questions. Primary contact and management of the Safety Shoe and Safety Eyeglass Programs
  • HR analytics, metrics and data analysis ensuring the success of the HR systems and associated data
  • Attend/present at department/employee meetings, as needed.
  • Responsible for providing/assisting in the following areas: Human Resources Information Systems, positive employee relations, training, headcount Summary and other HR reports, job descriptions
  • Required to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the OHSA.   Follow and ensure the Company’s procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout their assigned area.  Ensure that work area is clean, tidy, organized and safe at all times

   

  The Candidate

  • Demonstrated progress toward or completion of Community College diploma/certificate in Human Resources is required;
  • 1 to 3 years Human Resources practical experience (preferably in manufacturing and/or pharma environments);
  • Established verbal, written, and organizational skills at an above average level with strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to speak/train/facilitate small and large groups of people for training or meetings;
  • Strong computer and excel skills, efficient at an expert level;
  • Ability to implement problem/conflict resolution methods;
  • Able to work in a strictly confidential and professional manner;
  • Ability to work independently in an efficient and effective manner in a fast paced environment
