The Opportunity


We are recruiting a Continuous Improvement Leader to help facilitate the ongoing and rapid growth at SLEEGERS.  This person will be responsible for delivering initiatives that advance the company’s capabilities to drive step-change improvement in performance.  This position will require the ability to wear many hats, including CI Practitioner, Project Leader, Business Analyst, Documenter, and Trainer


Key Responsibilities:


  • Creates and maintains a prioritized list of projects to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of E2E processes
  • Personally leads the highest priority projects for the organization
  • Ensures execution of all prioritized projects, including those being led by others in the organization
  • Develops and manages all project documents, including charter, budget, plan, and requirements
  • Facilitates the Lean improvement journey via tools/techniques such as Kaizens, 5S, Kanban, etc.
  • Establish and track metrics to measure and monitor improvement benefits
  • Owns preparation for and facilitation of daily/weekly tier management reviews
  • Designs and documents (via SOPs) end-to-end processes that deliver outcomes in alignment with company needs and expectations
  • Collaborates with Information Technology partners to create and lead integrated project plans
  • Provides subject matter expertise and coaching/training on departmental processes and systems
  • Provides data analytics and insights to support the organization priorities and initiatives




  • 7 - 10 years of experience in:
    • Continuous improvement leadership
    • Engineering or supply chain planning and execution (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
    • Process and systems change management leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Operations Management, Business Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
  • Computer literate including proficiency with ERPs and Microsoft Office applications; specifically Excel
  • ERP knowledge
