Customer Service Coordinator

Summary

Natra Chocolate America requires a Customer Service Coordinator (CSC) to oversee the operational execution of finished product movements from end-to-end. Likewise, the CSC will manage the customer relations and work with cross-functional departments to meet or exceed customer service levels.

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety culture within the Supply Chain department.
  • Coordination and management of outbound shipments to Customers, this includes but is not limited to facilitating import permits, meeting logistic requirements and other related process.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment dates and any other status related to their shipments.
  • Collaborating with Planning/Procurement group for ongoing analysis of the required levels of inventory to meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee finish goods inventory to ensure accuracy and best before day management.
  • Enter Data in AX to Process Sales and shipping documents.
  • Monitor shipping confirmations to ensure on time customer invoicing.
  • Maintenance of AX transactions to ensure data integrity and traceability of products.
  • Assist management in training and developing Customer Service Representatives.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Assist with the management of logistics providers, including 3PL warehouses and freight carriers.
  • Contribute to Supply Chain strategic/special projects.
  • Performing ongoing analysis of Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including customers on-time delivery performance.
  • Other duties which may be assigned by the department manager.
  • Adhere to all prescribed Regulatory and Company requirements for Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, Food Safety and Quality Systems, HACCP, Sanitation and GMP’s

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Import/Export Compliance or Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with ERP systems such as Dynamics AX or SAP.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • CITT Certification, APICS Certification, PMAC Certification, P. Log. Certification considered an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (proficient in Excel)

Requirements

  • Verifiable proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • DOT/FDA regulations
  • Import/Export Customs
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent math skills, along with the ability to calculate freight measurements, weight and convert to international units

  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent
  • Skilled negotiator with diplomacy and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to handle stressful situations, deadlines and pressures well
  • Excellent understanding of information systems, logistics costs and inventory management
  • Working Knowledge of Spanish or French would be an asset
