JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor the Inventory Control Associate oversee managing product in our ERP system. They must also recognize and resolve quantity discrepancies, make quantity reports, create request tickets as needed, and prepare extensive quantitative statements that help with inventory control duties. Assess and monitor warehouse transactions.

Shift: Monday - Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Pay: $20.00/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision from the Logistics Supervisor this person performs a variety of duties such as developing and maintaining processes around accounting for inventory in the warehouses and supervision of the cycle count program.
- Position is responsible for auditing paperwork, investigating variances and implementing improvement plans.
- Audit inventory movement process along with paper flow errors and identify the inconsistencies that affect the accuracy of the inventories
- Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts of the raw materials inventory and make proper adjustments according to accounting procedures
- Maintain the cycle count records for review by management and provide reports related to cycle count activity
- Analysis of inventory trends
- Work with other departments to manage inventory practices (FIFO) to minimize discontinued, overstock or out of date material
- Create documentation as needed using appropriate computer programs including but not limited to MS Office applications
- Controls inventory accuracy of cannabis, material and supplies by analyzing and maintaining/ documenting inventory records.
- Identifies and advises of root causes of inventory discrepancies, as well as corrective actions to management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, 3+ years of inventory systems work experience, preferably in food manufacturing industry.
- Skilled in inventory control practices which require strong analytical and excellent problem-solving attributes
- Six Sigma/Lean experience is preferred
- Experience operating a forklift, including hand truck, stand-up forklift and scissor lift
- Ability to perform unit measures, conversion calculations and other mathematical calculations reasonably necessary to satisfactorily perform job duties.
- Able to multi-task and work under time constraints.
- Has the ability to function under stressful conditions and interact cordially with co-workers.
- Physical demands, include standing and walking for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds.
