Job Purpose and Impact
The Production Planner will coordinate production scheduling, follow-up maintenance progress, and implement appropriate emergency plan to ensure efficient production process. In this roll you will align the production schedule with effective production practices’ and maintain all system processes used for production.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute the production schedule in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain all system processes (SAP, Savigent, REPETE)
- Collaborate with various partners to ensure effective production, including coordinating with production schedule, tracking production process indicators.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced data analytical skills for use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, SAP.
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Plant Information System.
- Experience leading product production process and emergency production plans.
- Three years and above working experience in production scheduling and inventory.
