Quality Engineer
The Trojan Technologies group of businesses offers products under the brands Aquafine, Salsnes Filter, Trojan Marinex, TrojanUV, and VIQUA. Applications and markets served to include municipal wastewater, drinking water, environmental contaminant treatment; ballast water treatment; residential water treatment; ultra-purification of water used in food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing, and semiconductor applications; filtration and solids separation.

About the Quality Engineer role:
As part of the Quality Engineer role, our goal is to continually improve Trojan’s customer experience by driving continuous improvement efforts in the areas of product, process, and service quality.

Manage the quality system management development, documentation, and implementation. Lead ISO Auditor.

Conduct formalized audits, both internal and external to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem-solving

Analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements.

Work cross-functionally with a variety of suppliers to qualify new designs and continuously improve supplier quality using proven techniques.
Are you qualified?
-
Degree in Engineering or relevant technology-level diploma, along with experience in a similar role.

Experience with stainless steel fabrication or electrical commodities is preferred
-
ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ-CQE), or P.Eng
-
Certified lead auditor
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and manufacturing acumen

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001) and appropriate tools, such as Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, etc.

Ability to facilitate, train and lead cross-functional teams

Advanced Microsoft skills

Have basic knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management, including key terms and definitions, modeling, systems design, assessment tools, and reporting.
