Art Production Specialist

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a production artist to support the creative team with the execution of digital and print marketing projects for the Indiva Brands portfolio. The Art Production Specialist will assist the creative team primarily in producing, formatting, collecting, and processing print, packaging, point-of-purchase and digital graphics.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with creation and execution of digital and print assets for the Indiva portfolio of brands
  • Manage artwork production including text, colour, size, digital imagery, and other details pertaining to document aesthetics
  • Prepare all materials for printing and/or electronic distribution
  • Review and revise project layouts prior to production and ensure timely execution
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing and copywriters' team to finalize packaging text and graphics
  • Manage deadlines and expectations
  • Maintain image and file libraries


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role in art production
  • Familiarity with principles of visual design
  • Ability to navigate smoothly between digital and print media assignments
  • High proficiency with use of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator)
  • Experience coordinating and maintaining schedules, project plans, and content calendar
  • Solid knowledge of printing processes
  • Keen attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to create realistic packaging renders in Photoshop
  • Ability to create final print-ready packaging artwork in Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams
  • Proofreading experience is an asset
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player, be a self-starter, and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to travel 10% of the time
