Millwright and/or Electrician

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a Licensed Millwright.
• Has 3 to 5 years' experience as a Millwright in an automotive setting (preventative maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen), breakdowns, etc.).
• Is able to work weekend shift schedule - three 12hr shifts + 4hr company paid top up.
• Is available and willing to work mandatory overtime maintenance shifts are longer to support our production department.
• Has a great attendance record and arrives to work on time.
• Has strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Has good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Has a desire to learn skills other than your area of expertise.
• Has a good understanding of the Toyota Production System (this would be an asset).

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing processes including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses and door panel assembly.
• Read and interpret blue prints, schematics, drawings and machine specifications.
• Recommend technical solutions and implement changes.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Communicate with internal and external parties.
• Carry out kaizen projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shifts:
Rotating Shift (days and afternoons)

Wages:

• $37.35 per hour as a starting rate.
• $38.36 after 6 months of employment.
• $39.59 after 1 year of employment.
• $40.60 if you have Dual Ticket.
• $2.00 shift premium added when working the afternoon shift.
• Overtime time is paid at 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
• You will start with the top rate on day one if you have over five years of experience.
