Job Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Window Administrator/Customer Service Representative carries out sales and service support functions related to window product sales. In this role, you will support sales growth of windows/doors by providing superior sales support and customer service to our window customers. Specifically you will:

  • Provide accurate and timely quotes for windows/doors to lumberyards and contractors using computer software and manual pricelists
  • Provide window quote software training to customers as required
  • Provide manual price list updates to customers as required
  • Provide product information, technical support based on information provided by blueprints and inquiries (Take-offs)
  • Answer customer inquiries at our service counter in person or by phone
  • Monitor and advise customers of product information, availability, and delivery status
  • Participate in basic accounts receivable tasks, including credit check and collection calls
  • General administrative duties in a computerized environment

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience (windows, building products)
  • General understanding of window perofrmance metrics such as Energy Ratings and U values
  • Excellent customer service skills including proactive and quality communication
  • Technical aptitude and high attention to detail
  • Good spatial visualization skills, blue-print reading
  • Computer literacy
  • Be self-motivated, dependable,  accountable
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers, peers, and staff
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environment
