About the Opportunity

The Maintenance Technician will work the afternoon shift (4:00 PM to 2:30 AM Monday to Thursday) to keep production equipment running.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As part of our team, qualified individuals will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop within this rapidly growing operation, and be a part of our company culture
• Perform all technical procedures ensuring compliance with security measures, standard operating procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and government regulations for all tasks
• Monitor production equipment for issues
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdowns
• Communicate with coworkers to provide or request assistance when necessary
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment
• Follow equipment manuals and research solutions to equipment breakdowns
• Ensure safe work practices are observed
• Contact equipment suppliers to receive support and assistance with troubleshooting equipment
• Gain an understanding of how various equipment functions
• Maintain tools to ensure efficient and safe operation
• Perform changeovers and set-up of various equipment
• Work with maintenance and engineering to describe and resolve larger scale problems
• Maintain clean work area, free from any hazards
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have mechanical aptitude
• 2-3 years of Maintenance Technician experience in a manufacturing plant
• Familiar with the use of hand and power tools
• Analytical mindset with the ability to approach problems logically
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skill
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Must have clear criminal record

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
