Job Description
Senior IT Business Analyst
We are hiring a Test Technologist based out of our St. Thomas, ON office location Join our Engineering Department & let’s build our home together!
The test technologist will evaluate and validate Masco Canada products in a safe manner, good quality within established laboratory procedures and practices.
and participate in the Engineering Lab infrastructure development.
What You Will Do!
- Perform experimental and validation testing on new and existing products.
- Follow industry standards, Masco Canada test methods and test instructions.
- Sustain in-house lab ISO 17025 accreditation by adhering to all applicable corporate policies and procedures, participating in regular trainings and proficiency testing with other labs.
- Develop, operate and maintain automated test equipment and fixtures.
- Analyze test data and prepare test reports.
- Manage test projects within established timelines.
- Participate in project reviews and department meetings as required.
- Create documentation for designed equipment and test fixtures.
- Provide cost estimates for new equipment and repair parts.
- Train engineering department personal if required.
What You Will Bring!
- Experience with lab instruments, hand tools and electronic test equipment.
- Strong computer and software skills: experience with RSLogix, microcontrollers and LabVIEW.
- Plumbing industry experience would be considered an asset.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience gathering, analyzing and accurately recording test data. Working knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel.
