Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system, ten skylights, and high efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Plasma Operator to join our Production Team at SLEEGERS. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Operating the plasma cutter
• Use of overhead crane
• Programing preset jobs into system
• Read drawing
• Inspecting and verify the finished product aligns with the required product specifications
• Interfacing with all stakeholders involved on timeline and any logistical issues
• Engaging externally on machine reliability issues
• Troubleshooting any issues that arises during the manufacturing process
• Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting issues that may occur throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

The Ideal candidate

• Previous experience operating plasma cutting machines
• Knowledgeable with reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems that arises
• Mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, quality and safety conscience
• Ability to work independently and have a positive attitude
• Previous experience with overhead crane and forklift
