Role Purpose: The Supply Chain Manager at Wolfe optimizes supply chain operations through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance management. This role translates sales forecasts into purchasing and production plans, manages supply and demand planning, and maintains optimal inventory levels while developing strategies aligned with business objectives.
This role also monitors key performance indicators (SQDC), implements continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinates activities across sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless operations. Through team leadership and development, they build organizational capabilities while managing the annual supply chain budget and driving cost reduction initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Leadership & Strategic Planning:
- Define supply chain and production planning forecasting structure for Wolfe – taking sales forecast and translating it into the purchasing and production forecasts
- Develop comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and guide Supply and Demand Planning while ensuring inventory levels are managed
- Seek and establish ways to further align supply chain team with the organization's financial revenue goals
- Establish Make vs Buy Strategies that align with business objectives
- Create and implement internal supply chain and material flow processes and procedures, assess for efficiency
- Define and implement inventory structure to align with business goals and objectives
- Creation of visual management system within department
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for supply chain planning and forecasting, production scheduling and inventory control; enact changes based on findings (departmental SQDC)
- Regularly report on supply chain and material control performance to leadership team
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis
- Coordinate supply chain activities with sales, engineering, and production teams
- Facilitate communication and alignment across departments
- Develop the supplier relationship management system for Wolfe
- Lead the supply chain and production control team - coaching/development of team members, growing capacity and capability to align with company objectives and goals
- Coach and develop direct reports and build team capabilities
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration
- Manage and adhere to an annual budget for supply chain functions across the organization
- Drive cost reduction initiatives with Category Manager while maintaining quality and service level standards

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Production Control, Manufacturing, Materials Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, sourcing, forecasting, or production control roles
- Experience coaching and developing team members to build organizational capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements within supply chain workflows
- Knowledge of supply chain principles with hands-on implementation experience
- Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP (Material Resource Planning) systems for managing schedules, demand planning, and supply planning
- Experience with inventory management systems and production scheduling tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and metrics for decision-making
- Experience translating sales forecasts into actionable purchasing and production plans
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management and vendor performance optimization
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and performance measurement systems
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and visual management systems
- Professional certifications in supply chain management (APICS, SCOR, etc.)
- Experience with budget management and cost reduction initiatives
